Floral Stylist, Plant Specialist, Garden Locations
Lindsey Taylor completed a degree in English Literature and Fine Arts at the University of Ontario. She studied Landscape Design and Horticulture at Cornell University and the New York Botanical Garden in Bronx. She began her career as a founding member of The Evergreen Foundation, a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to restoring urban green spaces and establishing gardens both for beauty and education.
After leaving Canada, Lindsey went on to be a Garden Editor for Martha Stewart Living Magazine and Television show for 10 years. From there the Garden Editor for Domino Magazine for 2 years. Before going off on her own, she headed back to Martha Stewart as an Editor-at- Large.
As a freelance floral stylist for magazines and advertising, her botanical musings have graced the campaigns of some of the country’s top clients including Martha Stewart Living, InStyle Weddings, Aveda, Estee Lauder, and Nordstrom.
After designing gardens both on the east and west coasts, she was hired as Style Director for Garden Design Magazine in the fall of 2010. She is available for projects by special arrangement (no pun intended).
